Deeper Diver

Walker Downriggers has created the next generation directional divers, the Deeper Diver.

This family of divers have heavy-duty hardware and locking mechanisms. The directional adjustment works with a locking system that will not unlock and change depth or direction, CLICKS and HOLDS at each position. to ensure you get to the depths you want!

The Deeper Divers also match all current diver charts. The Deeper Diver directional divers have no rings.

A "True Sizing System" simplifies the selection of the right size diver.

How do they work?

Planer Boards allow multiple fishing lines to be used when trolling.

They are used to place lures or bait up to 45 meters or more to either side of the boat, and more efficiently than with other conventional systems.

The fishing line is held in a release clip. When a fish strikes your lure, the line is released and the planer board slides down the line.

TIP

Looping the line clamped in the release of the planer board will keep the line from slipping and provide better hook setting.

Mini Planer Board Instructions

See image on the left

The mini-planer board can be used both port side and starboard, indicated on the mini-planer board there are port (P) and starboard (S).

These indicators are for the internal weights to control proper buoyancy. You need to shift these weights manually by tapping the indicated side on a solid surface.

Rough Condition Setting: give less attack puulling the board farther behind the boat and not out as far as the other two settings.

Normal Condition Setting: pull the mini-planer board out far and have more attack then the Rough Setting.

Slow, Ideal Condition Setting: for calm days with the most attack to pull the board out the fartest.
