Telescopic Outrigger Poles
Telescopic outrigger poles are becoming very popular due to their versatilty. Telescopic poles are recommended for top mounted outrigger bases or in the following cases:
- trailer boats.
- those utilizing a rack storage system for their boat.
- anyone who needs to frequently remove their outrigger poles.
- those requiring "on-board" storage of their outrigger poles.
- those utilizing their boats for uses other than fishing.
- anyone who has clearance issues with fixed length poles.
Rupp's telescopic outrigger poles come in 15' and 18' length, with collapsed dimensions of 5' and 6' respectively.
The poles use an "internal track" system which eliminates the need to continuously turn the pole sections until they lock into place, this system keep the guides always aligned.
Telescopic outrigger poles are easy to install, remove and store but they also require more care than conventional fixed outrigger poles.

Easy to operate, tough and dependable, Rupp Sidekicks are the perfect open boat outrigger. Cold-drawn, forged aluminum for strength and durability and designed for convenience.
They can be used with fixed or telescopic outrigger poles and now, with an adaptor to fit local fibreglass outrigger poles!
Hydraulic Outriggers - BiggRiggs with Power!!
Utilizing the latest in fluid technology, Rupp has developed a hydraulic outrigger system which is lighter, stronger and more user-friendly than anything currently on the market.
The "Power Riggers" were formally launched at the Miami International Boat Show in February of this year. The new system was developed with input from key customers and professional installers, and was made as end-user and installer friendly as possible.
Rupp has developed the system around their BiggRiggs line of outriggers ranging from 39 to 50 feet in length.
Rupp BIggRiggs are the lightest (per foot) aluminium outriggers on the market which helps tremendously in reducing wear on the various hydraulic components asd well as increasing their efficiency.
